Take us out to the ballgame!
This recipe is a fun way to bring the family together, and to get everyone ready for baseball’s exciting postseason action leading up to the World Series!
Ingredients
| Cookies | |
| 1 c. butter | 1 tsp. vanilla |
| 2 c. white sugar | 4 ½ c. flour |
| ½ c. sour cream | 4. tsp. baking powder |
| 2 eggs | ½ tsp. salt |
| Glaze | |
| 2 c. powdered sugar | 1 Tbsp. light corn syrup |
| 2 Tbsp. milk | Red decorator gel |
Preparation
1. Cream butter, sugar, sour cream. Add eggs and vanilla.
2. Sift dry ingredients together; add to wet.
3. Chill dough for a few hours.
4. Preheat oven to 350°F. Roll out dough and cut with round cookie cutter.
5. Bake 5-7 minutes. Let cool.
6. Mix sugar, milk and corn syrup together. Glaze cookies and let stand.
7. Add baseball stitching with red gel.
