
The Gift of Forgiveness
Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.—Colossians 3:13 (NIV)

When you are tempted to pass negative judgment on someone who is different from you, take a moment and pray. Try to shift your perspective to a lens of love and compassion. Ask God to help you see Christ in them.
Help me, Father, to be kind and helpful to strangers.
