God’s Unshakeable Presence
Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.—Philippians 4:5–6 (NIV)
Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.—Romans 5:3–4 (NIV)
In the above verse, Paul shares that trials, suffering and pain help refine your soul. When you are in the midst of a painful experience, recognize that God is with you, helping you overcome your circumstances and filling you with hope so that you may move forward.
