Demonstrate God’s Love
My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry.—James 1:19 (NIV)
Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.—Romans 5:3–4 (NIV)
In the above verse, Paul shares that trials, suffering and pain help refine your soul. When you are in the midst of a painful experience, recognize that God is with you, helping you overcome your circumstances and filling you with hope so that you may move forward.
