In my July/August editor’s note in Angels on Earth magazine, I admitted that I prefer print to our online editions. My Guideposts web friends won’t let it go. Now they are teasing me with content that’s impossible to fit into our 76 bimonthly pages.​

Like this slide show of yummy pie recipes for your next summer picnic. Coworker Kate made the office favorite, Coconut Cream Dream. We’re hinting big time that we’d love another.

There’s nothing I like more than a road trip–especially if I’m in the passenger seat. Windows rolled down, radio turned up, signs and scenery rolling by, nothing to do but take it all in. Guideposts just treated me to a trip down historic Route 66, and I didn’t even leave my desk.

Grow a biblical garden? Now that’s an idea. Dill (Isaiah 28:25–who knew?) attracts butterflies so I’m starting with that one. Wish me luck!

Amazing Grace is my absolute favorite spiritual. How is it that I’d never heard pastor Wintley Phipps’s version? Here, he performs it at Carnegie Hall, no less. Truly an inspiration that will move you to tears.

So, my webby Guideposts friends. You’ve made me laugh and made my cry. All online. I guess I have to take it back. I “prefer” reading, listening, watching, clicking on anything having to do with Angels on Earth. What a fun morning it’s been. Now I have to get to work on the print edition!
