A colleague just introduced me to a new website, Angel Wings Entertainment, where I think I’ll be spending a lot of time. The goal at Angel Wings is to “shine a light on the best of human behavior,” to show us what it looks like to be our best selves, thereby encouraging all of us to aspire to that, or at least to be better than we are.
“We’re all more technically connected,” says Angel Wings Entertainment Chairman Jim Lindsey, “but we’ve never been so emotionally separated.” He wants to change that by highlighting stories of people reaching out to one another, giving their time and effort to making a difference in the lives of those in need.
Lindsey believes that if we read about and see regular people performing good deeds and angelic acts every day, we’re more likely to imitate that kind of behavior. Or as he puts it, “We have to teach people how to give again.”
On the site, you’ll find inspiring earth angels of all ages, and a place to nominate an angel you know about. Spread the word and let’s help this project get off the ground. After all, we certainly know about angels!
