The Joy of Resurrection
“He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay.”—Matthew 28:6 (NIV)
Bear in mind that the Lord has given you the Sabbath.—Exodus 16:29 (NIV)
Some describe the Sundays in Lent as “Little Easters,” a day of feasting rather than fasting, a time of joyful expectation of the resurrection. Today, on this first Little Easter, rest, reflect and rejoice in celebration of Christ’s resurrection.
Heavenly Father, I come to You today, in awe of all You have done for me. I love You, Lord Jesus.

“He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay.”—Matthew 28:6 (NIV)

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.—Matthew 28:19 (NIV)

We love because he first loved us.—1 John 4:19 (NIV)
