Jesus’ Prayer

“I pray for them. I am not praying for the world,
but for those You have given me, for they are
Yours… My prayer is not for them alone. I pray
also for those who will believe in me through
their message… Father, I want those You have
given me to be with me where I am, and to see
my glory, the glory You have given me because
You loved me before the creation of the world.”—John 17:9, 20, 24 (NIV)

When you read John Chapter 17, you discover that
Jesus prayed for protection, joy and unity for His
followers. If you are feeling overwhelmed, say the above
verse and take comfort in Jesus’ prayer. Know that He
is on your side.

Dear Jesus, your prayers are a great blessing to me.
