Today's daily devotion

No Complaints

Moses also said, “You will know that it was
the LORD when he gives you meat to eat in
the evening and all the bread you want
in the morning, because he has heard your
grumbling against him. Who are we?
You are not grumbling against
us, but against the LORD.”—Exodus 16:8 NIV

Today, start a complaint diet and commit to cutting
back and ultimately ridding yourself of the unhealthy
habit of grumbling. Whenever you find yourself
moaning, be silent, or better yet, thank Jesus instead.

Dear Lord, thank You for helping me focus on gratitude
over grumbling.

Though he fall, he shall not be cast headlong, for the Lord upholds his hand.—Psalm 37:24 (ESV)

A woman prays at sunrise

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38–39 (NIV)
