Close to the Divine
For what nation is there so great, who hath God so nigh unto them, as the Lord our God is in all things that we call upon him for?—Deuteronomy 4:7 (KJV)

To relax your spirit, fill your mind with God’s Word. “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28). “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid” (John 14:27). Let these verses sink deeply into your mind and spirit.
Heavenly Father, Your Word is balm for my soul, a blessed oasis of rest and renewal.
