Surrender to Humility
Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.—James 4:10 (NIV)
And this is His commandment: We must believe in the name of His Son, Jesus Christ, and love one another, just as he commanded us.—1 John 3:23 (NLT)
There is great power in speaking Jesus’ name. When you are going through a difficult time or feeling alone or frightened, simply say His name and repeat this verse, “The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe” (Proverbs 18:10). Feel His peace and know that He is with you.
Lord Jesus…

Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.—James 4:10 (NIV)

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.—Galatians 5:22–23 (NIV)

Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.—1 Corinthians 15:58 (NIV)
