Serving God’s Kingdom
Jesus replied, “No one who puts a hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God.”—Luke 9:62 NIV
Jesus tells us that to follow His Word, you must look ahead and focus your actions on serving the Kingdom of Heaven. When someone needs your assistance, do you make an excuse as to why you can’t help? Instead, make time to be of service knowing that your actions are following Christ.
Dear Lord, guide me to nurture those around me with a listening ear and a helping hand.
