The islanders showed us unusual kindness. They built a fire and welcomed us all because it was raining and cold.—Acts 28:2 (NIV)
In the above verse, the Apostle Paul experienced unusual kindness from strangers. Have you ever extended a similar kindness to someone in need? God wants you to see the full humanity and value in every person—to lend a comforting hand to those who feel lost, to be a beacon of compassion to those in the cold.
God of grace and compassion, help me to see the precious worth of every person and to be a generous stranger who extends unusual kindness.
