The Reward of Trust
Whoever gives heed to instruction prospers, and blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord.—Proverbs 16:20 (NIV)
“How many loaves do you have?” Jesus asked. “Seven,” they replied, “and a few small fish.”—Matthew 15:34 (NIV)
Jesus is at His best when the odds are at their worst. In the above verse Jesus faced a crowd of a thousand hungry people with seven loaves of bread, and a few fish, but amazingly it was more than enough. Instead of worrying about what you don’t have, focus on abundance and trust in Jesus’ provision.
Heavenly Father, because of You I know I will always have enough.
Whoever gives heed to instruction prospers, and blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord.—Proverbs 16:20 (NIV)
Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.—2 Corinthians 3:17 (NIV)
So may all your enemies perish, Lord! But may all who love you be like the sun when it rises in its strength.—Judges 5:31 (NIV)
