The Power of the Shortest Verse
Jesus wept.—John 11:35 NIV
John 11:35 is the shortest verse in the Bible, but its depth
of meaning is vast. In times of sorrow, find comfort in
this verse and knowing that Jesus is with You. He is
filled with compassion and understanding of what you
are going through. When you weep, He weeps with you.
You are not alone.
Father, no tear escapes Your notice. When sorrows come,
comfort me with Your love.
