A Heart of Thanksgiving
Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.—Psalm 107:1 (NIV)
“Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done.”—Luke 22:42 NIV
Today is Ash Wednesday, the first day of Lent. This blessed season is an opportunity to align your heart and will to God’s direction. Make the most of this holy season by cultivating a deep relationship with the Source of love.
Today, on the first day of Lent, help me let go of bad habits, strengthen new ones and most importantly draw closer to You.

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.—Psalm 107:1 (NIV)

Let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.—Galatians 6:9 (ESV)

Live as free people, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as God’s slaves. Show proper respect to everyone, love the family of believers, fear God…—1 Peter 2:16–17 (NIV)
