This has been one stressful year. The coronavirus pandemic has wreaked havoc with every aspect of our lives, including our finances. In fact, according to a recent survey from the National Endowment for Financial Education, 9 out of 10 Americans say the pandemic is causing them financial stress—regardless of their income level. In addition, 25 percent say they are struggling to pay their monthly bills, while another 40 percent say they have already cut back on their expenses.

So whether you are facing unemployment, credit card debt, looming college tuition, insufficient retirement savings—or you just want to feel safe during this season of uncertainty, you need a plan. Here are three ways to start.

Download our FREE ebookDr. Norman Vincent Peale’s Take Charge of Your Finances offers spiritual tips and creative ways for living with abundance.

Tap into the power of prayer.  The Bible is chock full of verses about seeking abundance, such as Psalm 115:14: “Lord, thank You for multiplying all of my resources. I am increasing. Your blessings are always more than enough.”

Prayer will help you to be at peace, knowing that God has everything in control when it seems that everything in the world is out of control. Give your cares over to God; He is the source of your help and provision.”
