There is a Facebook page called Come Home Safe James Eunice. It was created by a family whose son went missing on January 15. He was found on January 31 in the arms of Jesus. The faith of this family is truly a testimony to all their thousands of Facebook friends.

I’m an aspiring writer, but lately I’ve been very uninspired and severely lacking creativity. My little sister came home from school, and shared a poem with me that she had written—it was simply amazing! After she read her poem to me, she shared with me the creative process behind it, and her warm smile, sharing heart, and general enthusiasm for the project now has me working on a project that will be all my own. After a year with writer’s block I consider this an absolute blessing, and I’m extremely thankful for sisters who share.

My husband! We go out hiking every morning (regardless of the weather) just so we can walk and talk and hold hands and spend time alone together. Even when I don’t feel like going he inspires me to put on all the necessary winter layers and get out there with him.

Bobbie Samme
Getting ready to pack up some more care packages for our troops in memory of our son LCpl Eric A. Palmisano who was KIA in Iraq 4/2/06. Over 1,600 care packages shipped since May 2006!

My daughter’s friend Ashley—a mom of a 3-year-old girl—who at 23 years old succumbed to breast cancer this past Saturday. She never asked “why me” or had a bad attitude. She was always ready to fight with all she had and never stopped smiling. When I think I can’t do something, or need to be brave, I am going to remember Ashley.

Caroline Walker Coleman
My 100-year-old grandmother Martha Manning. Despite a recent hospital stay, dehydration, weakness, loss of sight, and other ailments, she remains determined to get better. She also continues to focus on the needs and interests of her family, always asking about our latest projects and activities, as well as ensuring we are comfortable as we watch over her.

Keith Richards would have to be at the top of my list. I am reading his book and I am so surprised by how inspiring it is. Really. The Rolling Stones have always been one of my favorite bands and the music was great but I never knew much about Keith Richards. Except for all of his troubles, that is. His talent and work ethic are legendary but this is a guy who had everything (beyond imagination!) yet made really bad decisions for years and years. Then he decided he was done. It was a very tough battle, one I am sure he still fights. It’s been over 20 years since he cleaned himself up. He lives a “gentleman’s” life in CT with his wife, daughters and a menagerie of animals.

Remember to check our Facebook page every Tuesday when we ask what’s inspiring you each week! You could end up in our Wednesday blog!
