A little inspiration for you today.

Take a look at the video below taken at the Irish Universities Track and Field Championships on April 16.

At first glance it looks like an ordinary relay race. But pay attention to the runner in red, aka 21-year-old University College Cork student Phil Healy.

She started the race in fifth place after picking up the baton from her teammate. She’d already completed two other races that day–one of which finished just 20 minutes before–and the competition in this race was fierce.

She was racing against a runner who’ll be in the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. Phil certainly had her work cut out for her. But that didn’t stop her.

Take a look at what happens around minute four.

Life is full of surprises. One minute, you’re in last place, victory nowhere in sight. And the next? You’re crossing the finish line!
