That’s A Wrap!

This sweet and sour lettuce wrap recipe is a delicious and inexpensive way to make any meal more hands-on.

Lettuce wraps recipe

Ingredients

12 ounces reserved cooked ground beef (about 2½ cups)

4 tablespoons apricot preserves

2 tablespoons reduced-sodium soy sauce

2 teaspoons sesame oil

12–16 Boston Bibb or Butter lettuce leaves

1 cup shredded carrots

1 cup ready-to-eat crispy rice noodles or Chow Mein noodles

½ cup chopped scallions

Preparation

1. In a medium saucepan, combine cooked ground beef, apricot preserves, soy sauce and sesame oil. Mix well to combine. Set pan over medium heat and bring to a simmer. Simmer 3–5 minutes, until hot.

2. Arrange lettuce leaves on a serving platter and spoon beef mixture inside. Top with shredded carrots, rice noodles and scallions, and roll up.

Serves 4
