At a firehouse on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, an orange-and-white cat named Carlow takes his job as firehouse cat very seriously. The firefighters of Engine 22 Ladder 13 rescued Carlow in the spring of 2011 when they responded to a call in the Bronx and found a tiny, dirty kitten stuck in one of the tires of a car.
