A special iron and a wooden rolling cone are used to create these Scandinavian treats.

Ingredients

1 c. sugar 1 cup milk
½ c. butter 1 ½ c. flour
2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

1. Mix butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add other ingredients and beat until smooth.

2. Preheat Krumkake iron on stovetop over medium heat. Pour a small spoonful of batter on the iron, then close it. Cook about 30 seconds on each side; remove from iron with a fork.

3. Quickly roll Krumkake around wooden cone while it is still hot. Slide off cone when cool.

Makes about 4 dozen.
