Hey, Guidepost family. I hope all is well. I know that you are excited because it is the Thanksgiving season and we have so much to be thankful for. I’m extra excited because I am able to stand next to this amazing CEO of Faithfox. And his name is Willie Morris. So glad to have you. 

Yeah, I’m so glad to be here. This is by far my favorite time of the year, because during most of the year I’m traveling around and visiting a lot of the non-profits we work with in different parts of the world. But during the holidays, I get to be at home with my family, with my community. And I get to give thanks and I get to reflect on everything that I’ve seen and everyone who’s living with kind of less than we are. 

Yeah. 

And reflect on how fortunate we are and give God thanks and praise for all that he’s blessed us with. 

That’s amazing. You know, we don’t all have opportunities to travel the world and be able to really see how people are in need. So it’s just a blessing to have you and Faithbox that are really promoting the necessities of meeting the needs of people. So we thank God for you. We thank God for all of you, and hopefully that you have a heart of Thanksgiving. Because there’s so much that we can be thankful to God for. 

So what we want you to do is send in your prayer requests this season. You know we pray every year, Thanksgiving Day of prayer. We invite you to send in your prayer requests. You know some of you are thankful, some of you are saying what should I be thankful for? We want to pray for you so that you too can have a heart of Thanksgiving. In the word of God it says in verse Thessalonians 5 and 18, in everything give thanks. 

We want to assure you that no matter what you’re going through, no matter what you’re facing, no matter what the challenge is that God is still worthy of the thanks. Because he’s so great, he has the ability to turn whatever situation around for your good and for his glory. So we are grateful for this Thanksgiving season. Make sure you stay thankful. We’re thankful.
