Last Sunday night, the 82nd annual Academy Awards, the Oscars, was held amidst much glamour, glitz and hoopla.
But the evening was not without its inspiring moments, the best of which has to have been Sandra Bullock’s acceptance speech. She managed to be funny, gracious, emotional and touching, reminding us that celebrities can have beauty, brains, talent and heart.
