Even in desperate times, you can be filled with the joy of the Lord. He is your consolation. His Word can ease anxiety and bring you comfort. Know that He is with you. trust His power. His hand offers you grace and mercy.

The Bible has many instances of God sending messages through dreams. if you aren’t already paying attention and jotting down the spiritual gifts you receive while you sleep—now is the perfect time to start. the more you focus on your dreams, the more likely you will remember them and find meaning.
Heavenly Father, thank You for the comfort and peace of a good night’s sleep. I pray for good dreams that guide and encourage me to live my best life.

This verse is a beautiful little pick-me-up. Fan into flame the gift of God! He wants you to remember and rekindle the unique and precious gifts that you have to offer the world. Renew that spark that He placed in your heart and become the person He is calling you to be.

Today is Ash Wednesday, the beginning of Lent. Traditionally, this time is devoted to preparing your heart for Easter and growing your relationship with Christ. Dry spells or moments when you doubt God’s presence are an important part of spiritual growth and developing your faith. God is always near. His work is intertwined in your life even when you don’t feel it. The secret to getting through a crisis of faith is to pray more. Reach out to God and know that He hears you.
God of Heaven, I am lost and overwhelmed. Bring peace to my heart and strengthen my spirit until I can feel the comfort of Your presence.

Commit this verse to memory so that when you face a challenging time you can find comfort knowing God is with you. He is the One who can help you conquer your fear and give you the peace your heart craves.
Lord Jesus, I bring my fear to Your throne of grace; help me leave it there so that I can feel the peace of Your presence.
As Jesus went on from there, he saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax collector’s booth. “Follow me,” he told him, and Matthew got up and followed him.—Matthew 9:9 NIV
In the above verse, Matthew leaves his sinful ways behind to follow Jesus. This passage shows that Jesus came to those who needed His help to right their ways. He did not come to the righteous. He went to those in need of His love and mercy.

Nothing is hidden from God. As Charles Swindoll said, “God knows our complexities and quirks; He ‘gets’ us better than our closest friends. Best of all, He cares.” God is with you throughout the day, lighting your path and guiding you with His wisdom.
Heavenly Father, I’m overwhelmed by Your love for me. You understand me better than anyone.

God’s light is infinitely brighter than any light on Earth; His shadow casts brilliance upon us. When you make God a conscious part of your daily life, you enter the secret place of the Almighty.
