Rest and Recharge

When Jesus heard what had happened, he withdrew by boat privately to a solitary place. Hearing of this, the crowds followed him on foot from the towns.—Matthew 14:13 (NIV)
When Jesus needed to recharge, He connected with God in prayer. Follow His example. Establish a habit where you turn to Him to help you navigate stress. Ask for His help calming your worries and focusing your energy. Rest and recharge in His presence.
Heavenly Father, help me to escape life’s busyness by connecting with You.
