God wants you to be rich—in the best way possible. Every day he wants to shower you with blessings and riches…gifts that may or may not have an impact on your bank account.
God does not promise us unlimited wealth and earthly prosperity. God’s riches are more subtle and exciting. The Bible assures us that every day God “loads us with benefits” (Psalm 68:19). And the Apostle Paul admonishes us to “not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy” (1 Timothy 6:17).

Want to make spiritual riches a reality in your life? Then do these things:
1. Remember who God is.
Remember that God is a more loving Father and friend than anyone can imagine. Jesus reminds us that, just as we always seek to give the best to our own children, so our Heavenly Father will give “much more” to those who ask him (Matthew 7:11).
2. Know you are great.
The next time you feel down, get a lift from the fact that you are great. John the Baptist was a great evangelist, turning masses of his fellow countrymen to God, and Jesus said that no one before him was greater. Yet, at the same time, Jesus added that the least person in God’s Kingdom is greater than John (Matthew 11:11).
3. Realize you are part of Christ himself.
“Now you are the body of Christ” (1 Corinthians 12:27). This Scripture passage tells us that, just as our bodies are made up of many parts, controlled by our heads, so all believers form the body of Christ, who is our heavenly Head. Each of us has different gifts, and each gift is vital. What a privilege to be part of Christ and let him work through us!
4. Just ask!
Jesus promised that if we ask anything in his name, he will do it (John 14:13-14). When you align your thoughts and desires with Christ’s, he will hear and answer your prayers in amazing ways.
If you are part of God’s Kingdom, if the Holy Spirit lives in you and works through you, you are rich in the very best way possible!
