It’s February. Are you still faithful to your New Year’s resolutions? I have to confess that the year started out rocky for me. I lost 45 pounds and hit my 2010 New Year’s resolution goal—getting to a healthy weight—in December.

This year, in pursuit of my vanity weight goal—lose another 10 pounds—I’ve been lax and seduced by favorite treats way too many times. But after a roller coaster January, I’m back on my program. It feels so good! I’m once again riding a wave of positive energy towards my goal. So my advice to those of you who may have stumbled: Just pick yourself up and start all over again!

I know that I stumble the most when I’m tired, stressed, feeling overwhelmed. Do you, when pressed for time, drive up to the fast-food window? Or take the kids for a quick treat at one of the burger joints? If you do, the web team has some nutritional information that might be of use. We researched the menus of five major chains and came up with our best picks for healthy choices. The info may come in handy the next time you’re in need of a quick and inexpensive meal.

And remember: Falling off track once or twice or three times is not failure. Failure happens when you give up on your goal. Just reboot your resolution—and start all over again.
