The Unearned Blessing of Salvation
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.—Ephesians 2:8–9 (NIV)

There is great power in speaking Jesus’ name. When you are going through a difficult time or feeling alone or frightened, simply say His name and repeat this verse, “The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe” (Proverbs 18:10). Feel His peace and know that He is with you.
