God Chooses You
But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.—1 Peter 2:9 (NIV)
“And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven.”—Acts 9:3 (KJV)
In this verse Saul had an amazing and incredible experience, one that changed him from being a persecutor of early Christians to a follower of Christ. Perhaps you have had a less dramatic yet no-less important experience. Reflect on your life, and think about a time that He singled you out to reveal His light of truth in your life.
