In the wake of the devastating earthquake that ravaged the small island nation of Haiti and its capital city, Port-au-Prince, on January 12, 2010, relief organizations worldwide rallied to provide much-needed aid.

The need for assistance persists in that impoverished country, and you can help. Here is a list of humanitarian aid organizations that are taking donations to help relieve suffering in the areas hit affected by the earthquake. Additionally, you can offer up prayers on Guideposts’ prayer website and on our community boards.
