Here’s a favorite dessert recipe from our family to yours.
Ingredients
Cake 1 box yellow cake mix |
1 small package of instant vanilla pudding |
10 oz. 7 UP |
½ c. vegetable oil |
4 eggs |
Topping 1 ½ c. sugar |
1 stick butter |
1 20 oz. can crushed pineapple |
2 eggs |
2.5 oz. unsweetened coconut flakes |
Cake Preparation
1. Mix the cake mix, vegetable oil, and pudding.
2. Add four eggs and 7 UP.
3. Bake in a greased 9×13” cake pan at 350 degrees for 45-55 minutes. Set aside cake to cool.
Topping Preparation
1. Stir sugar, butter, pineapple and eggs in a saucepan over medium heat until thick.
2. Once thickened, stir in coconut and spread on cake.
