Here’s a favorite dessert recipe from our family to yours.
1 box yellow cake mix
|1 small package of instant vanilla pudding|
|10 oz. 7 UP|
|½ c. vegetable oil|
1 ½ c. sugar
|1 stick butter|
|1 20 oz. can crushed pineapple|
|2.5 oz. unsweetened coconut flakes|
1. Mix the cake mix, vegetable oil, and pudding.
2. Add four eggs and 7 UP.
3. Bake in a greased 9×13” cake pan at 350 degrees for 45-55 minutes. Set aside cake to cool.
1. Stir sugar, butter, pineapple and eggs in a saucepan over medium heat until thick.
2. Once thickened, stir in coconut and spread on cake.
Makes 12 servings.
