This Grandparents Day, don’t forget Grandma!
While there are plenty of scrapbooks out there for parents and kids to document their lives, The Grandmother Book, by Andy and Susan Hilford, allows Grandma to tell her story. The book’s subtitle is “A Book About You for Your Grandchild,” but adult children are sure to discover a great deal of interesting information about Mom, thanks to probing, lively questions on each page.
The colorful book includes space for stories and photos of school days, summers off, work life, love and marriage, then prompts memories of Mom’s or Dad’s birth and feelings about her grandchild.
We love this book for inspiring us to make sure we really connect with our grandparents and truly understand the story of their lives.
