Here’s my stick-figure family. The short one with the book is me. Next is my husband, our son (with the lopsided Yankees cap), our daughter and son-in-law (check out the hearts).
Ike, a 9-year-old golden retriever. We adopted Ike when he was 8 years old, after his having been a bit of a delinquent in his former home. You wouldn’t notice any of that delinquency now, as Ike is a perfect gentleman, deferring to bossy Kelly and playing tenderly with puppy Zeke (you’ll meet him soon.)
Ike is a Velcro dog–he follows me around the house and climbs into my lap for a nap. I can always count on his gentle presence to calm me in times of stress.
You’ll also meet my grandcat, Cinnamon (6-year old tortie-tabby), my granddog, Zeke (4 month old golden puppy) and Misty, my mom’s 12-year-old gray tiger cat. We’ll check in on amazing furry friends and animals in the news, and discover why they make us laugh, and sometimes cry.
