Jesus wants you to be a disciple, to keep learning and following Him throughout your life. He wants you to grow your mind and develop new skills that will help you be ready for any challenge. God wants to bless you with wisdom.

The word “light” appears more than two hundred times in the Bible. Light represents the presence of God. Light gives us comfort and understanding. We strive to walk in God’s light. Today as we change the clocks ahead for Daylight Saving Time, consider the importance of light in your spiritual life.
Lord, today I will concentrate on setting my spirit to let in more of Your glorious light.
Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this.—Psalm 37:5 NIV
Sometimes distractions pull us away from our time with God. Your best intentions for devotion can be detoured by a pressing need. Instead of getting upset, squeeze in time whenever you can. Commit your way to the Lord and trust that interruptions are part of His plan.
Heavenly Father, if a distraction needs my attention, be with me along the way and guide me back to You.
