You have the ability to choose what you want to make of the gift of life. You have the power to decide what goals to achieve, not just today but over your lifetime. it’s your choice to pursue the best opportunities, the best relationships and the best version of yourself. You deserve it.

Jesus’ last words are a beautiful prayer of trust and surrender. He was tortured and mere moments from death when He called out to God a prayer of unwavering faith. He didn’t whisper or think the words; He called out in a loud voice.

When things look dark or you are uncertain of the best course of action, instead of relying on your perception of the situation, turn to prayer. God has perfect vision. trust that He has everything under control.

Do you limit your prayers by holding back on asking God for help or by not praying for something that would really bring you joy? Take a moment and think about why you aren’t bringing these requests to Him.

Even as Jesus faced unbearable suffering, He focused His prayers on the people hurting Him. Instead of calling out for wrath and destruction, Jesus called for mercy. His compassionate prayer amidst torture is proof of God’s absolute love for each one of us.
