Help for the Helpless

[Elijah] looked around, and there by his head was some bread baked over hot coals, and a jar of water. He ate and drank and then lay down again.—1 Kings 19:6 (NIV)
God cares deeply for those in need. When Elijah asked Him to take his life, God gave him bread and water and a chance to rest and recharge. If you or someone you love is going through a dark period, ask God to help them have faith that things will get better.
Lord, shine Your divine tenderness on all those who need it.
