When You Feel Like You’ve Let God Down

“God, show mercy to me, a sinner.”—Luke 18:13 (NIV)
God knows the words you will speak before they are on your lips. He also knows the state of your heart. When you feel that you’ve let Him down, asking for His mercy is a perfect place to begin. You can’t change the past, but you can release your regrets to the Lord and begin anew today.
Have mercy on me, Lord. Lift regret from my heart. Help me let go of the past and forgive myself as You have forgiven me.
