The above verse is a reminder to you that because of your trust in God, there is no situation that you need to worry about. You have the power to give your concerns to Him. release your stress. He is your refuge.
Lord, You are my ever-present help. I trust You to turn my troubles into triumphs.
That they should seek God, in the hope that they might feel their way toward him and find him. Yet he is actually not far from each one of us.—Acts 17:27 ESV
Dry spells or moments when you doubt God’s presence are an important part of spiritual growth and developing your faith. God is always near. His work is intertwined in your life even when you don’t feel it. The secret to getting through a crisis of faith is to pray more. Reach out to God and know that He hears you.
God of Heaven, I am lost and overwhelmed. Bring peace to my heart and strengthen my spirit until I can feel the comfort of Your presence.
Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.—Hebrews 4:13 NIV
Nothing is hidden from God. As Charles Swindoll said, “God knows our complexities and quirks; He ‘gets’ us better than our closest friends. Best of all, He cares.” God is with you throughout the day, lighting your path and guiding you with His wisdom.
Heavenly Father, I’m overwhelmed by Your love for me. You understand me better than anyone.
But God said to him, “You fool! This very night your life will be demanded from you. Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself?”—Luke 12:20 (NIV)
The parable about a farmer who selfishly stored his treasure is a lesson to teach us that we should never hoard God’s gifts. Don’t fall into the trap of being a materialistic fool. Focus your attention on your relationship with God, knowing His kingdom is built on more lasting things.
Give me wisdom, Lord, to fix my heart on You, for You are my greatest treasure.
And a highway will be there; it will be called the Way of Holiness; it will be for those who walk on that Way. The unclean will not journey on it; wicked fools will not go about on it. Isaiah 35:8 (NIV)
You are progressing on the Way of Holiness. Reflect on how you feel as you move toward being more fully centered on God’s will. Take a moment and praise God for the positive changes happening in your faith and your life.
God of Truth, thank You for showing me the Highway of Holiness.
