A Prayer to Embrace Change

You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.—Ephesians 4:22–24 (NIV)
God has a plan for your life that includes growth and change. Yet many of us resist and fear anything different—even when it’s a move toward something better. God pushes us forward into new and sometimes uncomfortable situations. Be open to opportunity, and place God’s plan before yours.
Heavenly Father, I will seek Your will and Your ways for my life.
